PBCA meets 2003 "over 100 strong"

by Bill Moseley Feb. 3, 2003

Always check our website! Events for 2003 are posted on the PBCA website.

Visitors to the Penacola area are always welcome to join our events and atend our meetings. Monthly meetings are held on the third Monday at Seafood Shanty. Order and eat at 6:00, club business gets conducted at 7pm. If out of town, take Exit 10B heading south. Seafood Shanty is a couple of miles down the road on the east side. Good food at a great price!

The PBCA Poker Rally, held November 24th, was a success! Beginning and ending at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant and touring 70 miles of the county back roads in Florida and Alabama, the rally made a full stop at the beautiful, but little known, Hurst Hammock Landing. Following the stop, the group drove together for the remaining seven miles to enjoy a meal at the Cracker Barrel.

The high poker hand was held by Bill and Melissa Silhan, who got a free dinner. Six wild cards for prizes only, were in the envelopes. The prizes were British flag shirts, presented by Keith Sanders. All this and no entry fee!

Coursemaster Bill Moseley will plan another Poker Rally this spring featuring Cracker Barrel. (See the PBCA website for all 13 Poker Rally Photos - click "other shows" below. This is just a sample.)

PBCA's British cars were featured again in the huge annual Christmas Parade just over the Florida/Alabama line at beautiful Lillian, AL. Each car was loaded with candy to scatter to the crowd. Thanks to PBCA members Bob & Margaret Henson and Tom & Jeanne Schmitz of Lillian who again coordinated our participation.

The PBCA Annual Christmas party, again held on the beach at Pensacola Beach, was so well attended that more space had to be provided! See it in the next issue of British Marque.
