PANHANDLE BRITISH CAR ASSOCIATTON, INC.

JUNE 1999

As published in the June 1999 edition of the "British Marque" newspaper.

PRESIDENT: Jeff Olive, (850) 944-5509 EDITOR: Pete Peterson, (850) 435-6859

It's over!! The Seventh Annual PBCA British Car Show and Beach Bash was once again a success, thanks to the leadership and "can do" spirit of Tom Schmitz and all the volunteers. There is not enough room in this short treatise to mention everyone by name, but ya'll know who you are, and, to put it in the proper form, "Ya'll done good!!!" Take a bow and pat each other on the back. The results of the show are shown at the end of this publication.

Mike Japp has continued to do a fine job of maintaining our web site. Check it out at: http:/www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Pit/9977 -- Send graphics to: mpo@bellsouth.net. Your Editor has been somewhat remiss in getting the British Line to Mike for inclusion each month, but hopefully that has changed and you will start seeing it on a regular basis. Take advantage of this great way to get the word out to your computer-literate membership. As always, thanks to Mike Japp for his expertise in setting this up. Jump in, sign our guest book, and let Mike know how much he is appreciated.

Sunday, May 16, 1999, the PBCA held their picnic at Krule Lake in Blackwater River State Forest. All attendees brought their own picnic lunch, and met at Keith Sanders' old office building on Copter Road. Once again, your Editor was absent due to prior commitments, but from all accounts, they had a ball. Look for more details on the web site.

The May meeting was held on Monday, May 17, at Hall's Seafood. All is well, the club is much more solvent than ever before (thanks to Tom's tight hold on the purse strings), and membership is up.

The next meeting will be held at Hall's Sea Food on Gregory Avenue, MONDAY, JUNE 21, 1999, dinner at 6:00 p.m., meeting at 7:00 p.m. Ya'll be there, here?
